We have our Marriage Certificate

OK, we have all that we need except our homestudy. Once our homestudy is complete, we can send it in for our I171h. We have already been fingerprinted, so it should only take a few weeks. Our homestudy is taking a few extra weeks becasue we have to wait for DSHS clearance. We did not get the papers to our social worker until a few weeks ago. Since it takes a few weeks to get them back, we shoudl have our homestudy any day.

We are beginning to wonder if the reason our homestudy is not complete is because the Lord wants us to open our hearts up to a boy. From before we adopted Claire, we had talked about adopting a girl from China and a boy from Vietnam. We had decided that it was easier to adopt a girl because we have what we need for a girl and her and Claire could share a room. Those are our reasons though and we do not want to stand between the Lord and His plans for our family. That of course brings about a whole new name game. After seeing the movie 300 last night, my husband would say his name is Spartacus. Riggghhhhht ... both of the boys have the initials JAC. I would think that it would be nice for this little boy to have them also. I wonder how my husband would feel about me suggesting twin boys? That could be fun and then we could adopt a little girl later. How about eight kids? Maybe that is too many? It just makes me sad to never be able to name a little girl AlecSandra. I have loved that name since I was a little girl. We will see what the Lord has in store. I remember reading once, if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.
