The Wait

It is hard at times to believe that this waiting will come to an end. We know that our dossier has arrived safely at the CCAA. We are simply waiting to hear what our LID (log in date) is so we will know our "official" count day. The average family in our agency is waiting about two months to get their RA (referral acceptance) from China. This is a letter that we will mail back to China and wait for our TA (travel approval) at that point. That piece of paper comes 2-5 weeks after your RA. The Lord is definitely in charge of our travel dates, but it is "possible" for us to travel over our Christmas holiday from school if everything was to come in the shortest time periods.

In a couple short weeks Cade will turn two years old. It is hard to know that he will not be with us during that time. We have a package that is going to him with a frog, blanket, photo book and cameras to catch his special day. We are thinking about sending him a cake to share with all his friends also. It costs a bit more that Costco :) but it would be priceless to have some photos of him on his birthday sharing cake with all his friends.
